New York Mets OF Curtis Granderson came off the bench to hit two home runs Tuesday night in a 7-4 win over the Miami Marlins at Citi Field.
Granderson, who pinch hit for starting pitcher Seth Lugo, hit a pinch-hit home run off Marlins RHP Tom Koehler in the sixth inning for his second career pinch-hit homer to give the Mets a 4-2 lead. He stayed in the game at right field and hit a two-run home run off Dustin McGowan in the seventh inning.
"It's tough to pinch hit in any situation regardless of the timing of the game or whoever you're facing," Granderson said after the game.
