The Mets will start LHP Adam Wilk on Sunday against the Tigers, his first start of the spring. Wilk, who signed a minor league contract with the Mets this winter, has a 2.70 ERA in 6.2 innings pitched in the Grapefruit League, striking out six batters.
Kevin Plawecki will return as the designated hitter after injuring his knee in a home plate collision two weeks ago.
RHP Michael Fulmer will get the start for the Tigers. The former Met prospect and last year's American League Rookie of the Year has thrown three shutout innings this spring, striking out three hitters.
