Francisco Lindor has been named the winner of the 2024 National League Silver Slugger Award at shortstop. It’s the fourth time he’s been awarded a Silver Slugger and the second consecutive season he’s won one with the Mets.
As we discussed when the finalists were announced, Lindor was arguably a shoe in for the Silver Slugger this season. He racked up a 137 wRC+, the best among shortstops in the National League. He posted his highest wOBA since 2018 (.363) with an xwOBA that suggested he was even better than that. For counting stats.
