Francisco Lindor powers Mets to victory as they win their fifth straight

The Mets defeated the Rockies 7-3 to win the second game of the series against Colorado and to bring their win steak to five straight.

Carlos Mendoza did not put together the most fearsome lineup with a few of his starters getting the day off. They did get a bit lucky in the second with the bases loaded when Luis Torrens grounded into a potential double play. Colorado second baseman Brendan Rogers fielded it and threw the ball into left field which allowed two runs to score. Jeff McNeil brought home two more when he doubled one batter later.
