Not too long ago, we saw the San Francisco Giants up close. Their rich history, recent championships in the early part of the decade, and star names make it seem like they would be a good ball club. Unfortunately for them, it’s 2019 and the New York Mets are the far superior team. When the trade deadline rolls around, it’s teams like the one in Flushing that will plunder them for talent.
The Giants do have one thing going for them. Their bullpen is pretty strong. I think manager Bruce Bochy handles them well and a reason for it has been how effective each man has performed in their bleaker 2019 campaign.
