The Mets dropped their third game in a row to the Rockies by the score of 6-4. After a promising top of the first inning where Todd Frazier hit a solo home run, things quickly went south for Steven Matz and the Mets in the bottom of the inning. Nolan Arenado quickly pounced on Matz’s mistakes and drove a three-run home run to left to put the Rockies ahead 3-1. The next inning was more of the same as Arenado came up again with two men on and proceeded to drive both of them in on a double to right.
