It was a team effort for the Mets this Thursday afternoon as Marcus Stroman and the offense came together to silence and wallop the Diamondbacks en route to a 11-1 victory in the last of a four-game series between the two.
While Stroman had a nice afternoon going 6.1 innings deep and only allowing one run to score on four hits, the offense was the star of the show as the Mets set a new team record by hitting six big flys in a game at home for the first time in team history.
