Final Score: Mets 10, Braves 2—Hang Ten

The New York Mets bounced back nicely after getting trounced last night and earned a 10-2 victory over the Atlanta Braves at SunTrust Park. After Atlanta dropped 12 on the Mets on Monday, New York returned the favor by scoring 10 tonight.

The Mets did the bulk of their damage against nemesis Julio Teheran, who owned a 2.35 ERA in 25 career starts coming into this game. The Mets jumped on Teheran for four runs in the third inning, which began with back-to-back doubles by Jeff McNeil and Pete Alonso and included a run-scoring double from Michael Conforto and an Amed Rosario single to drive in a run later in the frame.
