Farm Report: Colby Woodmansee among Brooklyn's All-Stars

Less than two months into his professional career, shortstop Colby Woodmansee is a New York-Penn League All-Star.

Woodmansee, a fifth-round pick out of Arizona State in June, will be joined by Brooklyn right-hander Harol Gonzalez and first baseman Peter Alonso in next Tuesday’s event at Dutchess Stadium in Hudson Valley.

Woodmansee, 21, is hitting .282 with two homers and 21 RBIs in 42 games with the Cyclones, although he does have 50 strikeouts in 163 at-bats.
