New York Mets RHP Jeurys Familia hit 97 mph on the radar gun and gave up one run and three hits in one inning in his Grapefruit League debut in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Houston Astros at First Data Field.
Familia pitched the third inning, giving up three singles, including a Jose Altuve RBI single that drove in George Springer that tied the game at 1.
"I thought that was a pretty good first day," manager Terry Collins said to MLB.com's Anthony DiComo. "I thought he threw the ball well.
