Experts: Best bets for World Series Game 3

You'll hear it said enough to the point that it becomes a cliché, but it really is true -- a playoff series doesn't begin until the home team loses a game. Perhaps, given that the World Series resumes tonight adjacent to a subway station that serves both Citi Field and Arthur Ashe Stadium, a tennis analogy is more apt: The Kansas City Royals held serve, and by virtue of owning home-field advantage, they are permanently up a mini-break in this series. So, it's the Mets turn to serve, down a mini-break in a fifth-set tiebreaker.

Fortunately for the Mets, they've got the equivalent of Roscoe Tanner on the mound in the form of 6-foot-6 Noah Syndergaard.
