ESPN baseball analyst and softball gold medalist Jessica Mendoza talks to The Post’s Justin Terranova about the Mets, Yankees and World Series favorite after being in the booth for the Subway Series last weekend.
Q: What impressed you about the Mets?
A: Of course there’s Yoenis Cespedes, and you can go off about him. But I see a guy like Michael Conforto, they brought him up and he’s just been consistent with power, in the field; he’s one example of the team seamlessly adding players and becoming successful. With everything that’s going on with Matt Harvey, being in the clubhouse, talking to all the guys I am impressed with the conversation that’s happening internally.
