Terry Collins told reporters Sunday that Jeurys Familia, Addison Reed, Antonio Bastardo, Jerry Blevins and Hansel Robles are his locks to make the Opening Day bullpen, likely leaving two spots open.
Meanwhile, reliever Erik Goeddel said Sunday that he will be ready when the season starts, despite suffering a right lat strain in late February. It's good that he's confident, because he's essentially fighting for a roster spot.
I still see a direct competition for one middle reliever between Goeddel and Jim Henderson, as well as a separate long-man competition between Sean Gilmartin and Logan Verrett.
