Duda riled by KC coach's remarks on arm

Lucas Duda took exception to a Kansas City base coach's evaluation of his arm while discussing his throwing error in the ninth inning of Game 5 of the World Series with Newsday's Marc Carig.

The comment the Mets first baseman objected to was made by Royals first-base coach Rusty Kuntz. "Bless his heart, Duda. He's a good bat," Kuntz told the Kansas City Star last November.

"(Kuntz) said 'we've got this guy as a DH,' and again, that's an opinion. But it's somebody to me that really doesn't matter," Duda told Carig.
