Mets right-hander Drew Gagnon has accepted an offer to pitch in Korea for the 2020 season. The KIA Tigers have signed him to a $600K deal with a $200K signing bonus.
Gagnon was chosen by the Milwaukee Brewers in the third round of the 2011 MLB draft. He spent six seasons in the Brewers organization before being traded to the Angels in December 2016. He became a free agent after the 2017 season and the Mets signed him to a minor league contract in the offseason.
