The car service app will bring Mets legend Dwight “Doc” Gooden to an Amazins fan on Friday to hand deliver a $2,500 SeatGeek voucher, enough to buy two tickets to the big game on the event search engine.
Gooden, who pitched for the Mets during the team’s come-from-behind ’86 World Series victory, will also give an autographed jersey to the winning Mets fan.
But for gloomy Mets fans who watched the team lose the first two World Series games to the Kansas City Royals, Gooden had encouraging words.
