— New York Mets (@Mets) June 2, 2015PHOENIX -- On Tuesday, the Mets sent out a picture of their entire team wearing orange T-shirts and touting themselves as the "first professional sports franchise to participate in today's first annual National Gun Violence Awareness Day."
It turns out not everyone was on board, and Dillon Gee wanted to make sure he was honest about his views. The right-hander tweeted Wednesday night a link to an article citing the team's picture being used to support of gun-control advocacy groups, particularly one founded by former New York City mayor Mike Bloomberg, and laws and expressed his disagreement.
