Jacob deGrom pitched seven scoreless innings for the second straight start and the Mets knocked around Masahiro Tanaka in a 7-1 win over the Yankees on Tuesday night at Citi Field.

- deGrom (7-5) allowed four baserunners in the first two innings but only two more for the remainder of his start. He allowed four hits and a walk with eight strikeouts and extended his scoreless streak to 14 straight innings. deGrom also went 2-for-3 and scored twice.
- Alejandro De Aza hit a two-run homer and Travis d'Arnaud slugged a solo shot off Tanaka to give the Mets a 3-0 lead.
