LOS ANGELES -- An older and wiser David Wright is not taking this for granted. After nine years and missing 115 games this season with a serious back condition, the Mets third baseman was not going to take his first playoff experience in nine years for granted.
"I'll start out by saying that was fun,” Wright said Friday after the Mets beat the Dodger 3-1 in Game 1 of the NLDS at Dodgers Stadium.
“You rewind a couple months and I was a spectator here...To come full circle and enjoy that as a baseball player, that meant a lot.
