Darryl Strawberry was a member of both the 1986 Mets and the 1996 Yankees, the last two teams to rebound from an 0-2 deficit to win a World Series.
Who better than Straw to ask about the mindset the Mets will need to overcome a similar hole in this year's Fall Classic against Kansas City.
"The clubhouse has to believe they can win. That's the thing we always believed. We can win," Strawberry said on the field during batting practice before Game 3. "Down two-nothing doesn't mean anything. They just have to play baseball.
"You have to play the fundamental style of baseball.
