NEW YORK -- Catcher Travis d'Arnaud, who has appeared in only 19 games this season due to multiple injuries, is ready to come off the disabled list.
The Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin reported that d'Arnaud traveled to New York after going 1-for-5 for Double-A Binghamton on Wednesday, catching nine innings for a second straight night. The Mets hoped to activate d'Arnaud prior to Friday's series opener against the Nationals, and that remains likely.
