NEW YORK -- Asked for his favorite World Series memory, Daniel Murphy recalled the 2011 Fall Classic, which he watched with his younger brother Jonathan in a residence they shared in their native Jacksonville, Florida. The siblings marveled at the performance of eventual MVP David Freese as the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Texas Rangers in seven games.
“He went nuts,” Murphy said about Freese.

Murphy, the National League Championship Series MVP, has homered in an MLB-record six straight postseason games.
