ALBANY — Scalpers are cashing in big-time on the Mets’ first appearance in the World Series since 2000 — including Gov. Cuomo.
Cuomo’s re-election campaign Monday offered tickets to Games 3 and 4 at Citi Field on Friday and Saturday for a staggering $5,500 each.
“RSVP quickly as this event will sell out,” said the invitation. The event includes a 90-minute pre-game reception with the governor.
The campaign bought a “very limited number” of tickets at face value directly from the Mets, sources said.
The fundraising tactic, which is legal, is also being employed by Queens Rep.
