The New York Mets have recalled pitcher Corey Oswalt from Triple-A Las Vegas. P.J. Conlon, who just made his MLB debut on Monday, was sent back down to Triple-A in order to accommodate this roster move. This move was expected for Conlon, as he was simply called up to fill in for injured starter Jacob deGrom.
Oswalt has already seen major league action this season, making one appearance in a blowout loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on April 25th. He was called on to finish out a game in which Steven Matz was rocked by the Cardinals.
