Coors Field Kills Unicorns

Greg Prince of Faith and Fear in Flushing introduced us to the “Unicorn Win” yesterday … a score in which the Mets win once and then never again. Friday’s game was the first ever 14-9 win in Mets history.

Well, I guess that unicorn is dead. Killed by Coors Field, as the Mets won their second 14-9 win in team history. Coors Field Unicorn: 2015-2015.

Every Met had a hit by the third inning. Jon Niese had a two run single. (And he pitched a whale of a game considering where he was and that he made it through five and a third.
