Michael Conforto told WOR's Pete McCarthy that he's motivated by the pain of losing the World Series.
"It's been a big driving force," he explained. "We fully expect to make it back to the World Series."
According to Conforto, despite his limited success last season, he is trying to keep this winter the same as in the past.
"I've tried to not make it be different," he said. "I want to keep that hungry attitude. I don't want to come in with any expectations or take anything for granted."
Conforto said he is excited to see Yoenis Cespedes returning to the Mets, regardless of what it might mean to his playing time.
