  • Colon's two-run homer off James Shields in the second came in his 226th career at-bat. At 42 years old, he became the second-oldest Met ever to hit a home run. Julio Franco was 48 when he went deep in 2007.
  • On the mound, Colon allowed a three-run homer to Jon Jay, but little else in his 6 2/3 innings.
