Citi Field looks beautiful, concerning week before Mets Opening Day

A fourth nor’easter in three weeks left Citi Field still blanketed in snow on Thursday, but the forecast looks more promising for the Mets’ opener in Queens next Thursday.

Temperatures are expected to be in the mid-50s when the Mets host the Cardinals at 1:10 p.m.

While there should be showers, it doesn’t appear Opening Day should be in jeopardy. And the weather looks about the same on Friday, a built-in off day in case of a rainout on Thursday.

The Yankees open their season next Thursday in Toronto against the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre, where the roof figures to be closed.
