Chris Heston didn’t hit the Meatpacking District or go clubbing to celebrate his no-hitter.
He savored the moment by reliving it.
The 27-year-old Giants rookie went back to his hotel room, got comfortable and turned on ESPN’s “SportsCenter.”
“It’s pretty cool to see my name up there, to relive it a few times after,” he said before the Mets and Giants met Wednesday night at Citi Field. “In the moment, I didn’t really know what was going on.
“I’m a sports guy, so I watch it anyways.”
Heston, who tossed the season’s first no-no, striking out 11 Mets and allowing just three batters to reach base, all on hit-by-pitches, also spent most of his evening returning a few hundred text messages and speaking to his family.
