NEW YORK -- Struggling to support Jacob deGrom for most of this season, the Mets continued their recent surge behind him Monday with five homers at Yankee Stadium.
Amed Rosario led off the game with a long ball off Yankees starter Luis Severino, punching it 378 feet over right-center field fence for his first career leadoff homer. Severino later served up a two-run homer to Jose Bautista, marking the 11th he's allowed in his last seven starts. Severino has given up at least one in every game during that run.
