Spring Training is all about working out the kinks, and Mets manager Mickey Callaway think his squad needs to put a priority on fundamentals to do so.
The Mets have had a few mental lapses recently, and Callaway made it known that work needs to be done to prevent those moments from becoming a norm.
"We have some work to do," Callaway said. "Our fundamentals, we have to throw the ball where we want to throw it. We have got to do things a little bit better than we have been doing. We had a little talk about that this morning and you have to throw the ball where it's supposed to go.
