Mets second baseman Asdrubal Cabrera left Sunday's game against the Yankees before the fourth inning.
Cabrera grounded out in both of his at-bats. In the first inning, he grabbed the back of his left leg after he slipped while running out of the batter's box.
He stayed in the game for two more innings and changed his cleats before he was replaced by Jose Reyes.
Cabrera is hitting .283 with 11 home runs and 36 RBIs this season.
