Cabrera leaves game with knee strain

Mets shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera left Sunday's game against Colorado with a patella tendon strain in his left knee. He stumbled rounding third base on Neil Walker's RBI triple in the first inning, collapsing after he touched home plate. He needed assistance to leave the field.

Cabrera had a similar injury in spring training, causing him to miss 17 days. Cabrera has played a team-high 101 games this season, hitting .255 with 13 homers.

Wilmer Flores moved from third base to shortstop and Kelly Johnson took over at third.

Flores is the only shortstop on the roster.
