Cabrera 'feels strong' after Grapefruit League return

New York Mets shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera said his knee "feels strong" after returning to Grapefruit League action on Monday.

Cabrera, who strained his left patellar tendon on March 10, went 0 for 3 and played five innings at shortstop against the St. Louis Cardinals. He missed nearly two and a half weeks of action, but had been playing in the minors over the weekend.

"I felt really good today. My knee feels strong," Cabrera said. "All I have to do is keep doing what I'm doing, working every day to get ready for the season.
