New York Mets shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera said his knee "feels strong" after returning to Grapefruit League action on Monday.
Cabrera, who strained his left patellar tendon on March 10, went 0 for 3 and played five innings at shortstop against the St. Louis Cardinals. He missed nearly two and a half weeks of action, but had been playing in the minors over the weekend.
"I felt really good today. My knee feels strong," Cabrera said. "All I have to do is keep doing what I'm doing, working every day to get ready for the season.
