The right-handed reliever is returning to the Mets on a one-year deal with a player option for 2021. Brach’s deal with the Mets is for $850,000, and the Cubs still owe him another $500,000 this season. Brach’s option for next season is for $1.25 million.
Brach, 33, pitched to a 3.68 ERA in 16 appearances for the Mets. He began the season with the Cubs and scuffled to a 6.13 ERA in 42 appearances.
