In his first start since July of last year, Matt Harvey was charged with two runs and three hits in 6 2/3 innings against the Braves on Thursday night.
He threw 77 pitches (55 strikes), struck out four batters and walked no one.
Harvey was pulled from the game with two outs in the seventh inning after giving up a home run to Matt Kemp, who hit another home run off Harvey earlier in the game.
"He followed the plan that we talked about before the game," manager Terry Collins later explained.
