Best is yet to come for Mets’ new ace Noah Syndergaard

The Mets have a new ace.

Noah doubt about it.

Everyone wondered who would be the ace of the Mets’ staff of young guns. Noah Syndergaard has answered the question. For now.

Like all Mets starters, he just needs a little help from the offense.

Syndergaard was spectacular over seven innings but received a no-decision for his hard work, as the Mets’ frozen bats came up short again in a 2-1 loss to Jose Fernandez and the Marlins on Tuesday night at Citi Field, the fourth straight loss at home for the 2-5 Mets.

From the time his intro music started — the theme from “Halloween” — until he left, Syndergaard was in charge, but the Marlins were able to push a run across in the fourth to tie the game, thanks to the Mets’ shift.
