Beltran speaks highly of Mets manager Terry Collins

Don’t worry, it was all positive things, I promise. As someone who’s favorite player was Beltran until he ripped my heart out back in 2006, and then again when he went to play for that team (the Cardinals), and then once again when he became a Yankee, I couldn’t help but acknowledge these comments from Beltran about Collins and the Mets in the World Series.

Beltran only played under Collins for 98 games in the 2011 season, and yet Beltran was still singing his praises earlier today at Topps’ Manhattan office. The current Yankee stated how he was “especially happy” for Collins for getting to the World Series, and referred to him as a great man and a great manager.
