Asdrubal Cabrera drives in four as the Mets win their third in a row

In a season where so much has gone wrong, a lot went right in the Mets’ 12-6 victory over the Pirates. This triumph was the Mets’ third win in a row, after taking the final two games of the series against the Padres. For the Pirates, it’s their second loss in a row following the end of their 11-game winning streak.

The Mets wasted no time in getting going against Nick Kingham, scoring twice before the top of the first inning ended. Following a two-out double from the streaking Michael Conforto, Wilmer Flores drove a Kingham changeup to the same section that David Wright sent his 2006 All-Star Game home run.
