The Mets have already made two additions to their rotation this winter, first signing Frankie to a two-year, $34 million deal with an opt-out after the 2025 season and then bringing in Clay Holmes on a three-year, $38 million deal with a chance to be a starting pitcher after having been in the bullpen for pretty much his whole big league career. They also bolstered their pitching depth just last night by signing Griffin Canning to a one-year, $4.25 million deal to compete for a rotation slot or swingman role a la Trevor Williams.
