After long rain delay, Mets-Nats postponed

WASHINGTON -- Wednesday's game between the Mets and Nationals was postponed, as heavy rain poured down at Nationals Park before the scheduled start of 7:05 p.m. ET and continued until 9 p.m., when it became an official rainout.

This was scheduled to be the series finale between the two National League East rivals after Washington claimed the first two games.
