After feeling ill, Mets' Collins sent for tests

The Mets announced before Sunday's game against the Brewers that manager Terry Collins had been taken to a local hospital after not feeling well. He was said to be "alert" and will undergo tests.

MILWAUKEE -- Needing a fresh bullpen arm, the Mets optioned right-hander Logan Verrett to Triple-A Las Vegas and called up reliever Erik Goeddel prior to Sunday's series finale vs. the Brewers.
