Adam Rubin's Farm Report for Aug. 30

The Brooklyn Cyclones endured a 14-game losing streak in August and, with an 18-47 record this season, are on track for the New York-Penn League's worst winning percentage since the State College Spikes went 18-56 (.243) in 2008. But one positive for the Mets' Coney Island affiliate has been right-handed reliever Cannon Chadwick.

Chadwick, a ninth-round pick in June out of the University of Arkansas, has a 1.08 ERA and one save in 16 relief appearances. He has struck out 37 batters and walked 14 in 25 innings, and opponents have a .228 average against him.
