So I’ll admit to you that Thursday was one of those games where real life got in the way. I went from planning on going to the game to not seeing anything other than the score go up and up and up on the phone in a game which culminated in a 12-3 Mets victory. I’ll say this because it’s long overdue on my part, but Curtis Granderson has really done a great job turning this around. From June 20th to August 4th, Curtis hit .296 with an OPS of .944 with nine home runs. And his two run HR against Colorado turned a 4-3 game into the final blow to Colorado’s soul this week.
