5 pressing questions facing Mets in David Wright situation

SAN DIEGO — It’s back to Los Angeles for David Wright.

After spending the last two days at Petco Park reunited with teammates, the Mets third baseman was preparing Wednesday to head north to resume physical therapy on his back and weekly checkups with noted specialist Dr. Robert Watkins.

When the Mets will see Wright next is anybody’s guess. On Tuesday, Wright indicated he is without a timetable for resuming baseball activities as he recovers from stenosis, a narrowing of the spinal column. But Wright said he will play again this season, with surgery not an option at this point.
