Hear ye! Hear ye! Gather ‘round. It’s time for the annual Amazin’ Avenue King of Spring Training contest, in which we highlight the efforts of less heralded players in Mets camp. As usual, the vast majority of the roster spots are mostly decided, but there is always at least a spot or two up for the taking and here we outline some candidates who have set themselves apart from the rest so far this spring—at least some of which are guys whose names you may not have heard before.
