A three sport star who played football, basketball, and baseball at from Liberty North High School in Liberty, Missouri, Trey Snyder stood out in high school and exhibition games, and is considered by some scouts and evaluators to be the best prep prospect in the very crowded field in the state of Missouri. After hitting .391 with 7 home runs and 22 stolen bases this past spring in his senior season, he was named Missouri Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year, giving Liberty North High School three consecutive winners, as former alumni Tate McGuire was the 2022-2023 recipient and Karson Milbrandt was the recipient in 2021-2022.
