DENVER -- Pinch hitter Ryan Raburn hit a two-run homer in the seventh Sunday that gave the Colorado Rockies a 4-3 over the New York Mets.
It was the sixth career pinch-hit homer and second this season for Raburn and enabled the Rockies to sweep the three-game series. The Rockies last swept a three-game series from the Mets on April 16-18, 2013.
Raburn continued to pummel Mets pitching; he's 9-for-16 (.563) against them with three homers and eight RBIs in his career.
Raburn's homer came against Jim Henderson (0-2), who came on to face Raburn in relief of starter Jacob deGrom, who allowed four hits and three runs in 6 1/3 innings in his Coors Field debut.
