In today's Mets trade rumors and news update, New York Mets starting pitcher Bartolo Colon isn't generating a ton of interest from prospective trade suitors prior to the July 31st non-waiver deadline.
According to Mike Puma of the New York Post, the Mets currently aren't fielding a ton of calls for the veteran right-hander:
Regarding a possible Bartolo Colon trade, I was told the phone isn't exactly ringing off the hook at the moment.

Colon has had an up-and-down first few months with the Mets, going 8-8 with a 4.12 ERA - a far cry from his Cy Young-flirting numbers with the Oakland Athletics back in 2013.
Some MLB analysts are speculating that Colon could still very well find a home other than with the Mets. However, the big names at the top of the pitching market (such as David Price and perhaps Cole Hamels) will need to have their situations cleared up first in order for a middle-tier trade chip such as Colon to increase in value.
