Ian Begley of ESPN reported this week that the Golden State Warriors are interested in trading for New York Knicks’ back-up center Kyle O’Quinn.
We can only wonder what the Knicks would get in exchange for O’Quinn. Don’t expect a first round pick and when looking at both team’s salary situations, shooting guard Nick Young makes the most sense for both sides, as Bleacher Report pointed out on Wednesday.
With O’Quinn having a player option on his current contract, he’s expcted to opt out and leave the Knicks this summer, but I’m sure that if he ends up with the Warriors, he won’t want to test the free agent market.
